Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Technical Analyst – Reg Tech Platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Fircosoft screening solutions, with experience in managing and owning key compliance systems/initiatives. They will also have expertise in Unix/Linux Shell Script programming, Oracle & MS SQL knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

In this position, you will be responsible for day-to-day management and ownership of screening systems/initiatives, identifying and escalating system control and compliance issues, and creating RCA documents for defects/incidents.

You will work closely with our team to prioritize system enhancement/upgrades, automate functionalities, and explore tools to connect with our Linux and Windows OS.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and own key compliance systems/initiatives – Screening Solution across new locations.
  2. Identify and escalate system control and compliance issues, assess and document related risk, and make recommendations for resolution.
  3. Create RCA documents for defects/incidents and provide permanent fixes/solutions.
  4. Prioritize system enhancement/upgrades, automate functionalities based on possibilities.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge in Fircosoft screening solutions.
  • Strong Unix/Linux Shell Script programming knowledge.
  • Expertise in exploring tools to connect with our Linux and Windows OS.
  • Good knowledge in Windows batch scripting to automate file generation and file movement.
  • Strong Oracle & MS SQL knowledge with (SQL, PLSQL).
  • Knowledge in Perl scripting.
  • Good at customizing reports based on compliance/business requirements.
  • Strong system integration experience.
  • Banking domain knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Awareness of regulations governing bank's business process is a must.
  • Knowledge of working with various database formats and file formats, conducting data analysis and analytics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Compliance and Financial Crime related systems.
  • Prior experience and exposure to Fircosoft screening solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial Crime qualifications is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 - 8 years of experience in the financial services or IT sector.
  • Dot Net Sharepoint, Power BI skills will be a nice to have.
