Senior Backend Developer (Laravel)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team and lead the development of our web applications using the Laravel framework. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools that meet the needs of our business.

You will work closely with the development team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards. Your expertise in Laravel will be utilized to design, develop, and deploy web applications, ensuring they meet the requirements of our business.

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of application design using Laravel, as well as proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. Additionally, experience with database design, unit testing, and RESTful API development is highly desirable. A strong portfolio of applications and programs is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of web applications using the Laravel framework
  • Work closely with the front-end and back-end development teams to deliver projects
  • Troubleshoot issues and debug builds
  • Ensure that integrations run smoothly and applications are scalable
  • Record and report work done in Laravel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with PHP, unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST
  • Solid understanding of application design using Laravel
  • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with database design, unit testing, and RESTful API development
  • A portfolio of applications and programs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical mindset
  • Great communication skills
