About the Role

Join our team of experienced professionals as a Data Migration Specialist.

  • Lead end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, scoping, extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and final validation.
  • Extract data from legacy systems such as QuickBooks, Procore, Sage 100/300 CRE, Viewpoint, and others.
  • Use SQL, Excel, and other scripting tools to transform and clean data in preparation for upload to Premier Construction Software.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, templates, and bulk upload files used in Premier.
  • Reconcile migrated data with legacy system reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Support, and Product teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify client requirements.
  • Document procedures, field mappings, data rules, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Provide clients with support and best practices to ensure a smooth data transition with minimal disruption.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in data migration, database management, or ETL processes. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is essential. Additionally, experience with CSV, XML, JSON data formats is beneficial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in data migration, database management, or ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL (queries, views, stored procedures) and relational databases.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, pivot tables, and data transformation.
  • Experience with CSV, XML, JSON data formats.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
