We are looking for a highly motivated Car Classification Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and mapping vehicles from classifieds and third-party sources to the appropriate category in our internal catalog.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of car specifications, including industry norms, trim levels, and facelift versions.

In addition to their analytical skills, the successful candidate will also possess strong communication and leadership abilities. They will work closely with the pricing and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of pricing data and catalog accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and map vehicles from classifieds and third-party sources to the appropriate category in our internal catalog.
  • Ensure accuracy in vehicle make, model identification, facelift versions, and technical specifications.
  • Continuously audit and refine vehicle data to maintain catalog consistency.

Requirements:

  • Extensive car knowledge: In-depth understanding of the automotive industry, including industry norms, specifications, trim levels, and facelift versions.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in the car industry in roles related to pricing, cataloging, or automotive purchase/sales.
  • Training skills: Ability to lead and train a small team, ensuring high performance and accuracy in their work.
  • Detail-oriented & multitasking: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to assess and map vehicles accurately and efficiently.
  • Clear communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey pricing insights and collaborate with internal teams.
