Mobile Neurofeedback Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Android developer to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge mobile neurofeedback platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Android development, with expertise in Java and/or Kotlin. They will also be familiar with Android SDK, NDK, and third-party libraries, as well as RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a project that has the potential to revolutionize the field of neurofeedback training. Our platform enables patients to perform their training outside of clinics with our smartphone app and state-of-the-art hardware.

About This Opportunity

You will be part of a dynamic team that is changing the field of neurofeedback training. We are based at the university medical centre in Münster, where our developments are funded by Start-Up Transfer.NRW in combination with EFRE.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design, develop, and test the BrainGoMo mobile neurofeedback platform.
  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and share your knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Android development (Java and/or Kotlin).
  • Experience with Android SDK, NDK, and third-party libraries.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience in Kotlin, Retrofit, Jetpack Compose, MVI/MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dagger/Hilt.
