Research Position Available

The Data and Research in Education project is seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Research Assistant. This dynamic position will provide support for research focused on improving education service delivery in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct background research and produce written summaries on topics including child development, maternal health, and education service delivery.
  • Analyze secondary data sources and create comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers to develop instruments, undertake fieldwork, and coordinate data collection.
  • Write policy briefs, reports, notes, summaries, abstracts, and blogs as required.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and conferences; maintain project documents; and provide research/administrative support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to work independently/team.
  • Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience handling qualitative/quantitative data.
  • Ability to represent data creatively.
  • Knowledge of NVivo.
  • Additional local language skills (e.g., Punjabi, Sindhi, Sirayki).
