This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Senior Backend Engineer. We are looking for a talented individual who can design and develop scalable, secure, and elastic server-side web technology stacks that power our products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building APIs for various products and integrations, developing and enhancing backend processing pipelines, collaborating with Product Analysts and Web Engineers, and ensuring the backend stack is secure and capable of supporting millions of concurrent users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing APIs and middleware
  • Building scalable applications using frameworks like .NET and Java
  • Developing unit and integration testing modules and participating in weekly bug bash activities
  • Performing peer code reviews to improve code quality

Essential skills include:

  • Experience with server-side web application technologies such as ASP.NET, Java Spring/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python
  • Proficient understanding of frameworks like .NET and Java
  • Strong skills in design patterns and logic development

Preferred skills include experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET libraries, Windows services, cloud services like Azure, AWS, or Google PaaS, and system-level programming such as sockets, multi-threading, or distributed applications.

Requirements
  • BSc or higher in Computer Science
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work
