A DevOps Engineer is a crucial role in our organization that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting pipeline issues to ensure smooth deployments.

The ideal candidate will have experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. They should also have knowledge of system monitoring and maintenance tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

In addition, the candidate should be able to work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with developers to understand application requirements and ensure proper deployment and scalability. You will also create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Responsibilities include implementing best practices for system security, including access control, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning. You will also ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Troubleshooting and incident response are key aspects of this role, where you will assist in diagnosing and resolving system and application issues in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, system monitoring, and containerization.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services and security principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
