Lead Tax Strategist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Manager to oversee our tax operations and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, reporting, and advisory—both local and international.

  • Oversight of timely filing of tax returns (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, etc.).
  • Detailed reviews of tax computations, returns, and reconciliations.
  • Development and implementation of tax strategies for clients across different sectors and jurisdictions.
  • Advice on tax planning, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Representation of clients in dealings with tax authorities and support during audits.
  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation and ensuring updates are communicated and implemented.
  • Leadership and mentorship of junior tax associates and analysts.
  • Collaboration with accounting and legal teams on cross-functional matters.
  • Maintenance of documentation for internal and external compliance purposes.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law.

Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in tax compliance and advisory.

Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is strongly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of Pakistani tax laws; experience with international tax is a plus.

Strong proficiency in tax software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
