Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee environmental performance, including policy development and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and mitigate environmental impact through leadership initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing lenders' environmental and social action plan.

Main Responsibilities:

Environmental Impact Assessment

The role involves:

  • Engaging consultants to conduct assessments and finalizing presentations.
  • Following up on project clearance and reviewing approval conditions.
  • Representing the organization in meetings and hearings.
  • Ensuring compliance with approval conditions and site-specific management plans.
Environmental Management System

This includes:

  • Reviewing and updating the Environmental Sustainability Management System (ESMS) Manual.
  • Regularly reviewing corporate environmental procedures and policies.
  • Developing annual environmental objectives and providing technical assistance.
People Development and Training

The responsibilities include:

  • Organizing training sessions for employees on environmental awareness.
  • Conducting needs assessments and ensuring parity in learning opportunities.
  • Fostering team engagement through regular feedback and career enhancement opportunities.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor of Engineering and Master's in Environmental Engineering or Management.

Knowledge:

  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Integrated Management System
  • Training & Audits
  • GRI Reporting
  • Certified Trainer and Lead Auditor

Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience.
