About the Role:

This Junior QA Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in software quality assurance. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop fundamental knowledge of software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and tooling while contributing to the testing of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the development and execution of test cases and test plans under guidance from senior team members.
  2. Participate in a range of testing activities, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  3. Develop skills in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using testing management tools.
  4. Work collaboratively with developers and other team members to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  5. Engage in code reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing processes.
  6. Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or currently studying in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and fundamental principles of software testing.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, C#, or Python is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and respond positively to feedback.
  • Will to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
