Project Manager - Content Acquisition

The Project Manager - Content Acquisition plays a pivotal role in driving and managing the content acquisition process, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality content is acquired and integrated into our platform in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Research:
    Crafting valuable insights for content creation involves conducting in-depth research on various topics. Collaborating with senior team members helps define content acquisition strategies that align with business objectives while avoiding copyright issues. Staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor content is essential.
  • Project Planning and Management:
    Developing and managing content acquisition timelines ensures deadlines are met. Coordinating and overseeing the content acquisition process from initial negotiations to final delivery requires attention to detail. Identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the content acquisition process is critical.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Working with internal teams (product, legal, marketing, and finance) ensures alignment on goals and expectations. Communicating project progress and status to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, is vital.
  • Partner Relationships:
    Building and maintaining relationships with content providers, licensors, and other external partners is crucial. Negotiating terms, agreements, and pricing with content partners requires strong negotiation skills, securing favorable deals for the company.
  • Content Delivery and Integration:
    Ensuring acquired content is delivered on time requires coordination with technical teams. Ensuring smooth upload and categorization of content is essential.
  • Budget Management:
    Monitoring and managing budgets for content acquisition projects involves tracking costs and ensuring projects remain within allocated resources. Identifying potential risks in the content acquisition process and taking proactive steps to mitigate them is critical.
Required Skills:
