We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team, working with UK clients. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, trial balances, VAT returns, reconciliations, tax calculations & returns, and other core accounting functions.

You will be involved in a range of services such as sole trader & limited company bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, CIS, and Companies House filings (changes of PSC/owners/directors).
Our team values structure and efficiency, prioritizing completing tasks promptly using processes and procedures to stay organized.
- Main responsibilities include:
- Monthly bookkeeping
- Weekly & monthly payroll processing
- VAT return preparation
- Self-assessment tax return preparation
- Company statutory accounts preparation
The successful candidate will have at least 6 months of experience working in an accounting practice with UK clients and will be proficient in Google Sheets & Google Docs.
You will also have the opportunity to learn diverse accounting software (QB, Xero, FreeAgent, Pandle) and gain comprehensive knowledge about UK businesses, including incorporation, tax registration/deregistration, and submitting Companies House forms.
Key Qualifications
- Fully or Part-Qualified (UK) ACCA
- Minimum 6 months experience with UK clients
- Experience working in a UK accounting practice
- Knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, CIS, payroll, statutory accounts, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Google Sheets & Google Docs
