Skillful Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software developer to fill this challenging role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP/LAMP application development, relational database systems, and Unix/Linux operating systems.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing large-scale web applications using PHP, MySQL, Apache, HTML/CSS/DHTML/JavaScript, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality software components and modules using PHP and related technologies.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement moderate to advanced complexity systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advances within the area of knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional groups.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, Ajax, Web Services, Cross-Browser Compatibility, and Version Control systems (SVN).
  • Experience with web-based JavaScript mapping, layers, geo-coding, page templating systems, session data storage, caching, and inter-process communication.
