Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Developer Role

This position involves working as a senior software developer to extend the functional areas of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

  1. The primary responsibility will be to analyze and estimate client modification requests, writing code to meet their needs.
  2. Extensive knowledge of AL programming language is essential for this role.
  3. The candidate should have experience working with clients on projects that involve Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Azure Development.

Requirements for the position include at least 5 years of experience in software development with Dynamics Business Central/NAV, with 3 years being with the AL programming language.

  • Business Central 15 or above experience is required, including use of events to perform modifications.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.

Candidates with certifications like MB-800 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant, AZ-204 Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure, or DP 600 will be given preference.

We are looking for someone who can work closely with our Professional Services team to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and estimating client modification requests
  • Writing code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
  • Testing functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
  • Delivering modifications to clients
  • Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
  • Serving as the lead technical expert on the implementation team

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer working with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, at least 3 years must be with the AL programming language
  • Experience with Business Central 15 and above, specifically using events to perform modifications
  • Hands-on experience working with clients on Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Azure Development projects
