Job Summary:

The GBV Service Coordinator will provide essential support to survivors of gender-based violence, including case management and psychosocial services.

Main Responsibilities:

Service Provision

  • Deliver survivor-centered GBV Case Management services, ensuring the needs of vulnerable individuals are met.
  • Closely coordinate with supervisors and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Provide information on available services, facilitating informed choices through referral, accompaniment, and service coordination.
  • Distribute emergency assistance based on individual needs assessments and established protocols.
  • Participate in regular case review meetings and coaching sessions.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Seek feedback from clients and adapt services accordingly.
  • Support post-distribution monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate records of service provision and case files.
  • Adhere to strict data protection and information-sharing protocols.

Coordination, Advocacy, and Representation

  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including community leaders and humanitarian partners.
  • Coordinate with other service providers and community focal points to enhance access to services and build support for survivors.
  • Organize case management meetings with other service providers as required.
  • Cultivate partnerships with MHPSS, child protection, health, and other sectors to foster integration and referrals.
  • Represent program goals and GBV standards.

Security and Conduct

  • Maintain compliance with security protocols and policies.
  • Promote a safe and supportive work environment for all staff and partners.
  • Elevate core principles of GBV programming, including respect, non-discrimination, responsible use of power, nonviolence, and promotion of gender equality.
  • Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the program.
