Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled High-Performance Software Engineer to join our organization.

This role will play a key part in designing and developing backend systems that can scale efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to set technical direction and collaborate with product and design teams to identify, plan, design, build, and deliver features on schedule.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development, debugging, and testing. They will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop junior engineers and contribute to shaping the company's culture and communication guidelines.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance backend systems.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to set technical direction.
  • Work with product and design teams to deliver features on schedule.
  • Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Foster a positive company culture.
Your Requirements
  • 5-8 years of industry experience as a software engineer building user-facing products.
  • Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals in Java.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate (or equivalent).
  • Relational Database Design and SQL optimization.
  • Testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience with Golang and/or Typescript is a bonus.
  • Ability to own features end-to-end from idea to execution to delivery in production.
  • Effective communication skills.
