Government and Public Policy Professorship Opportunity

We seek a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Professor in Government and Public Policy. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Government and Public Policy
  • Conducting research and publishing scholarly articles in top-tier journals
  • Mentoring students and supervising their thesis projects
Key Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A PhD in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university
  • Field of Specialization: Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Management, Social Policy, Governance

Candidates with a strong publication record and teaching experience are highly desirable. A comprehensive understanding of Public Policy, including its theoretical foundations and practical applications, is essential.

Candidates must also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be working closely with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

In addition, the selected candidate must meet HEC criteria for faculty appointments. They should possess a deep understanding of the academic environment and be well-equipped to contribute to the development of our curriculum and research initiatives.

Responsibilities and Expectations

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Government and Public Policy
  • Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in top-tier journals
  • Mentor students and supervise their thesis projects, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and engaging educator who can inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. They should be passionate about Public Policy and committed to making a meaningful contribution to the academic community.
