Senior Data Scientist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at nxt-labs.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Quantitative Research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Predictive Modeling: Design and implement predictive models on large datasets using tree-based methods and deep learning techniques.
  • Data Integration: Build and maintain robust data integration pipelines in Python.
  • Proprietary Dataset Generation: Apply advanced ML/AI approaches to generate, clean, and validate proprietary datasets.
  • Model Evaluation: Conduct backtesting, validation, and performance evaluation of data-driven models.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research insights into practical solutions.
  • Model Refining: Continuously monitor and refine models to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Quantitative Research.
  • Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Statistical Understanding: Solid understanding of statistical modeling, regression, and time-series analysis.
  • Predictive Modeling Expertise: Experience designing and deploying predictive and deep learning models.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
