Senior Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating test strategies and developing automation frameworks for complex projects.

About This Role

This role is ideal for someone who has experience in manual testing, ISTQB certification, and proficiency in Java programming. You will also have skills in scripting languages like Python or Java and experience with Test Automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured.

You should have a strong analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant testing or development experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting multiple scrum delivery teams with estimation, planning, and strategy for testing Web and Mobile applications.
  • Owning test coverage, defect reporting, and metrics.
  • Establishing and enhancing automated testing frameworks for UI and API testing.
  • Advocating for QA best practices across teams and establishing checks to prevent regressions and issues.
  • Leading initiatives to improve processes, investigate tools, and develop test frameworks for future projects.
