Technical Field Service Specialist

Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with the technical team to understand customer requirements and provide timely support to resolve any technical issues.
  • System Analysis: Analyze customer needs and determine system requirements to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Maintenance and Testing: Perform regular maintenance and testing of electronic components and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure reliability.
  • Technical Expertise: Evaluate systems and recommend new devices and sensors as per customer requirements, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.
  • Problem-Solving: Help clients troubleshoot and resolve problems with installed equipment, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Application Management: Manage applications to connect devices and sensors used in systems, achieving expected results efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Electronics Engineering or Applied Physics is required.
  • Software and Hardware Skills: Familiarity with MS-Office operating system and experience with PLCs, control systems, field instrumentation, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, RS-232, RS-485, Analog, Digital).
  • Quality Awareness: High degree of quality awareness and excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults/defects/problems.
  • Flexibility: High degree of flexibility and highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Control Engineering Knowledge: In-depth knowledge in the field of control engineering and extensive knowledge in hardware and software configuration techniques.
