Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. As a key member of our network operations team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement network architectures that meet the company's needs and requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize network projects
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures
- Participate in daily operational duties such as responding to support requests and troubleshooting service problems or outages

Requirements

- 4 to 5 years of experience in core networking skills (LAN/WAN/Data Center/Load balancers)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Prior solid experience in handling L2, L3 network issues
- 3+ years of working experience configuring Cisco IOS and/or NX-OS network equipment

Education Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems)
OR
- 1+ year of Networked Systems-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field
OR
- 3+ years of Networked Systems-related work experience without a Bachelor's degree

Physical Requirements

- Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.
