About the Role

As a seasoned software quality engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing automation frameworks and crafting test strategies for complex projects with dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing Strategy and Support: Collaborate with multiple delivery teams to develop estimation, planning, and testing strategies for web and mobile applications.
  • Test Coverage and Defect Reporting: Own and execute comprehensive test coverage, defect reporting, and metrics that drive continuous improvement.
  • Automated Testing Frameworks: Design and implement automated testing frameworks for UI and API testing, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.
  • QA Best Practices and Process Improvement: Advocate for QA best practices across teams, identify areas for process improvement, and lead initiatives to enhance testing methodologies and prevent regressions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, software, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant testing or development experience.
  • Strong manual testing skills, with ISTQB certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Java programming, with scripting skills in Python or Java being highly desirable.
  • Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with cloud tools such as Git, Drone CI, Argo CD, Kubernetes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work remotely with agile teams.
