Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a greenfield data exchange platform. This is a full-time contract opportunity that requires strong experience in both Java (Spring) backend development and modern TypeScript (Next.js) frontend development.

The successful candidate will work closely with our core engineering team to shape the platform's architecture, implementation, and best practices from the ground up. They will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Hibernate, as well as building modern, responsive frontend interfaces using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and ShadCN UI.

We are looking for someone who can collaborate closely with team members to define and follow coding standards and development workflows. They will also contribute to system architecture decisions and help structure a brand-new codebase.

This role involves participating in daily discussions, standups, and reviews to ensure progress and alignment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in English and be available to work and collaborate with a team based in the Pacific Time (PST) zone.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of full-stack development experience with:
  • Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate
  • PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI
  • Familiarity with collaboration and workflow tools:
  • GitHub, Jira, Slack, Notion, Google Docs/Drive
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor)
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
  • Availability to work and collaborate with a team based in the Pacific Time (PST) zone
