Salary

The monthly stipend for this position is Rs. 25,000 per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Research Assistant to support our project titled "Study of genetic diversity of the fishes of Indus River (Punjab) Pakistan using molecular markers". The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor/Principal Investigator.

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in conducting research on the genetic diversity of fish species in the Indus River. The candidate will be involved in data collection, laboratory experiments, and other related tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a PhD degree in Zoology or a related field. Additionally, they must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in molecular biology and genetics
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
