Visual Communications Specialist

The role of a Visual Communications Specialist encompasses the entire process of defining project requirements, conceptualizing and creating visual content, including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the visual aspects of various mediums such as websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, and more.

To achieve this, you need to have a creative flair and strong ability to translate requirements into design. Effective communication and methodical work approach are essential skills for this position.

Key qualifications include:

  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
Responsibilities

Study project briefs and determine project requirements

Develop project schedules and define constraints

Conceptualize visuals based on project requirements

Prepare rough drafts and present design ideas

Design and develop illustrations, logos, and other graphics using software or by hand

Apply appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

Collaborate with copywriters and creative directors to produce final design

Test graphics across various media platforms

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with brand guidelines
