Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Administrator to join our team at Enterprise Logic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting NFS exports and CIFS Shares, as well as ensuring optimal performance of all system components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and troubleshoot NFS exports and CIFS Shares.
  2. Manage Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches, including SAN zoning and tools.
  3. Ensure excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication is required.
  4. Provide systems and infrastructure environment support, on and off hours.
  5. Occasional travel to remote data center will be required.
  6. Experience with backing up SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Windows and Red Hat Linux.
  7. Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  8. Conduct ongoing performance monitoring and tune/adjust as necessary.
  9. Ensure service performance meets or exceeds business expectations and is delivered in accordance with SLAs.
  10. Enhance the functionality of systems by developing and modifying scripts to automate system processes.
  11. Create Knowledge Base articles of operational tasks to streamline support and empower first level support to resolve issues on a first call basis.
Requirements:
  • BSCS Degree from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in SAN/NAS administration and troubleshooting skills with storage systems such as EMC storage products, VNX, XtremI/O, Isilon.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years minimum related professional experience and/or training.
  • EMC Certification preferred.
  • Experience with backing up SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Windows and Red Hat Linux.
  • Must have experience using technologies such as Linux, LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High-Performance Networking.
  • Experience with replication technologies either in storage, Recover Point, or Zerto.
  • Experience with VMWare Site Recovery Manager.
