Software Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

  • Develop and execute quality assurance plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and provide detailed reports.
  • Work with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Participate in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize testing efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and proficiency in Jira.
  • Experience with software testing tools and best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • ISTQB certification or automation testing knowledge is a plus.
