Research Collaborator Opportunity

The Department of Mathematics is inviting applications from highly motivated Pakistani nationals for the position of Research Collaborator. The successful candidate will work on mathematical inequalities and their applications to find new numerical techniques.

Post Description:

This is a temporary appointment under the National Research Program for Universities-Higher Education Commission project No. 21-985/SRGP/R&D/HEC/2016, titled "On two dimensional harmonically quasi convex functions". The project duration is 09 months.

Responsibilities:
  • Working on mathematical inequalities and their applications to find new numerical techniques.
  • Candidates having knowledge of Convex analysis, numerical analysis, and computer programming will be preferred.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS/MSc in Mathematics.
Benefits:
  • PKR 10,000/- per month stipend.
  • 06-month contract duration (non extendable).
Project Information:

The above position is purely on a temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a surety bond for the entire duration of the project.
