Job Opportunity: Ornamental Iron Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Ornamental Iron Specialist with expertise in metal fabrication.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating detailed drawings, fabrication plans, and submittal documents for custom metal products such as gates, railings, staircases, and fences.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create precise shop and fabrication drawings for custom metal projects.
• Develop comprehensive submittal packages with dimensioned drawings, materials, and finish specifications.
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to produce accurate drawings.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Evaluate drawings against applicable codes, standards, and job-specific criteria.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Prior experience in metal fabrication or ornamental ironwork is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, technical detailing, and submittal processes.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or other markup tools is preferred.
