Job Title: Website Developer & Creative Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to fill this critical role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize our website while creating engaging visuals and executing effective digital marketing strategies.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search rankings and organic traffic. Manage and analyze social media content to enhance user experience.
  • Capture high-quality photos, design visually appealing graphics with Canva, and develop compelling website/marketing content.

An undergraduate degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

At least one year of experience in website development & maintenance (CMS experience a plus) and a solid understanding of SEO & digital marketing strategies are required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed.

Essential Skills for the Role

This position demands a unique combination of technical and creative abilities. The key skills include:

  1. Technical Skills:
  1. Website Development (1+ years experience): Experience building and maintaining websites using a Content Management System (CMS), preferably WordPress.
  2. Familiarity with HTML, CSS may be beneficial.
  3. SEO & Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies for driving traffic and engagement. Experience with website analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  1. Creative Skills:
  1. Graphic Design: Proficiency in using design software like Canva to create visually appealing graphics. Understanding of design principles like composition and color.
  2. Content Creation: Ability to develop engaging website copy and marketing content.
  3. Photography: Basic photography skills, including an eye for good composition, to capture high-quality photos.

Additional Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks is also required. Strong problem-solving skills to address website and marketing challenges are a must. The ideal candidate can thrive in a collaborative team environment and work independently when needed.

Bonus Points:

An undergraduate degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Marketing, or a related field is highly valued. Experience with additional marketing channels like social media management and email marketing is a plus.
