Job Description

BAT is evolving into a global multi-category business, striving to decrease the health impact of our industry. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Sustainability Social Reporting Manager.

This role requires strong experience in cross-functional activities and projects, with the ability to coordinate actions and develop a coherent approach that can be leveraged by multiple stakeholders working at above market/global level.

The successful candidate will drive CSRD alignment for Social ESRS across Operations, including reporting and assurance readiness. They will also develop a prioritized, risk-based and structured approach to addressing improvement needs in the technical policies, supplier engagement and consultations, actions, targets and associated metrics in line with the business requirements and industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive CSRD alignment for Social ESRS across Operations
  • Develop a prioritized, risk-based and structured approach to addressing improvement needs
  • Closely work with Leaf and Procurement teams on alignment of BAU and planned Social programs with ESRS requirements
  • Contribute to Environmental ESRS and other CSRD program workstreams
  • Act as subject-matter expert on Social Sustainability, focusing on BAT material topics, CSRD and associated regulatory requirements
Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven individual with strong planning, process optimization and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills, as well as resilience, flexibility and confidence to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Global Sustainability frameworks, reporting standards and principles, as well as 3+ years of experience with exposure to Social and/or Environmental Sustainability. Operations background is preferable, and data management, system implementation experience is also desired.
