The role of a Radiographer is to perform radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Process images efficiently and effectively, identifying minor issues and taking corrective action.
- Maintain equipment in good working order, performing minor adjustments and reporting faults or breakdowns to supervisors.
- Conduct daily quality assurance activities to ensure high standards are met.
- Provide patients with education and preparatory information on radiological procedures.
- FOLLOW safety protocols, including radiation safety for both patients and staff.
- An Intermediate Science stream qualification, preferably B.Sc., with traineeship in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist/Technician from a reputable Institute.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Radiographer is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
