Capital Expenditure Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Main Duties- Supervise verification, cross-checking and approval processes as per financial powers and SOPs, and issue job cards for distribution and transmission projects.
- Develop annual capital expenditure budgets through discussions, meetings, and evaluations to meet management goals, Board of Directors requirements, and OGRA standards for transmission and major distribution projects.
- Oversee the issuance of numerous job numbers across various categories, including natural and RLNG jobs, throughout the year.
- Ensure accurate uploading of approved financial budgets and pipes into the system for each job number issued.
- Prepare financial feasibility studies for pipeline projects based on P&D/Sales department data, government regulations, ECC decisions, etc.
- Maintain Projects Section with revenue overhead allocations at the company level for relevant projects.
- Create project-related schedules to support management decision-making.
- Monitor aging of ongoing distribution and transmission projects.
- Lead Pre-Audit Team: Conduct audits of system-based SPO/NLO bills and manual invoices.
- Address ERP issues related to the projects module and propose system improvements.
- Verify payment of PF loans for Unit B employees as per entitlement.
- Verify final settlement payments for Unit B's outgoing staff according to the Fund's Trust Deed/Rules.
- Verify cash imprest sent to/received from HO for PF Loans/FLS disbursements.
- Authorize cheques issued by SSGC/Fund Section.
- Complete any other assigned tasks.
