Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Manager to develop and maintain relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual donors. This role involves participating in the development of a strategic communications plan that highlights the impact of donor investments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling content for proposals, newsletters, brochures, websites, and other communications utilized by the resource development department.
  • Investigate grant opportunities to support existing and new programs and services, while monitoring grants activities.
  • Provide substantive reports to donors regarding stewardship of their gifts and encourage continued support.
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive development plan that will expand and enhance foundation and corporate relationships.
  • Support the development and improvement of information systems regarding donor and prospect data management.
  • Represent the organization at local and regional fundraising conferences/seminars and at corporate functions.
  • Determine and effectuate fundraising strategies and donor policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Exceptional proficiency in using MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent writing skills, including clear, concise, and accurate copy in accessible English.
  • Strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills, coordination and prioritization skills, and proven capacity to undertake varied tasks simultaneously within stringent deadlines.
  • Leadership experience with non-profit agencies, volunteers, and staff while working with diverse segments of the community.
