Job Description

MBA/ACCA with 2 years relevant experience or CA-Inter with 7 years relevant experience are required for this role.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled audit manager to lead our internal audit team in developing an annual risk-based internal audit plan that covers financial processes for review and approval by the Audit Committee.
  • The successful candidate will assist in preparing pre-audit planning presentations for senior management to discuss potential audit risks, scope, timelines, and logistics arrangements.
  • They will work closely with the Manager to identify risks and controls for each process in audit engagements.
  • Key responsibilities include documenting identified risks and designing controls during fieldwork, executing audit procedures according to defined methodology and agreed-upon timelines, and performing audit fieldwork as per the annual audit plan.
  • Audit managers will manage audit resources to execute integrated audits and reviews of key business processes, carry out audit procedures, including documentation of controls and testing their operating effectiveness against each risk in processes.
  • Ensuring audit documentation meets departmental quality standards is also a critical responsibility.
  • The ideal candidate will identify irregularities or weaknesses in internal controls or performance, prepare draft audit reports for senior management review, and provide technical assistance with investigations, special audits, and subject-matter expertise as needed.
Requirements

This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of auditing principles, practices, and regulations, as well as experience in managing audit teams and projects.

Knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks is also essential.
