Internship Opportunity in Photonics Laboratory

We invite applications for a research assistant position to work on a project developing a free-space optical communication prototype.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and development and contribute to the growth of the Photonics laboratory.

Job Description:

  • Assist in the design and development of experimental setups for communication and optical systems.
  • Conduct experiments and gather data for further analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering or related fields; willingness to learn optical communication.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, LabView, and Python programming languages.
  • Full-time availability in the lab (Monday to Friday).
  • Ability to learn new technologies, software, and skills.
  • Previous experience in experimental work on communication or optical systems is advantageous; knowledge of electronic circuits, signal processing, or communication systems is crucial.
