We are looking for a Corporate Governance Specialist to join Professional Employers (Pvt.) Ltd.

Job Role and Duties:

  • Liaising with regulatory bodies, such as SECP and CDC, to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinating annual audit and half-year review activities with external auditors.
  • Ensuring timely execution and completion of all planned activities under external audit.
  • Maintaining statutory registers, including those related to company formation and shareholder records.
  • Preparing and filing annual returns with relevant authorities.
  • Organizing and coordinating meetings of directors, members, and committees, including preparing agendas and board packs.
  • Preparing, circulating, and maintaining records of Minutes of Meetings.
  • Liaising with external auditors for certification of company records.
  • Handling and maintaining dividend registers, ensuring proper deduction of Zakat and income taxes.
  • Submitting monthly returns to regulatory bodies, such as SBP and SRB.

Qualification & Skills:

  • ACA or ACCA member, MBA in finance, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in case of ACA or ACCA, or 4-5 years of listed company experience in case of a master's degree.

  • The position is based at Karachi.
