Job Description for Charge Nurse

Indus Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, while also overseeing the activities of the nursing staff during your shift.

• As Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing treatment protocols.
• You will also be required to monitor patient care, identify potential problems, and take corrective action as necessary.
• In addition, you will participate in rounds with the management team to ensure that all orders are noted and carried out, and that patient progress is monitored and reported accordingly.
• Other duties include supervising the preparation of patients for operative procedures, assisting residents/consultants in medical and surgical procedures, and carrying out admission and discharge procedures.
