Senior Software Engineer Job

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in developing server applications and Restful APIs.

Job Summary:

  • The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server applications of various software platforms.
  • They will ensure that the functionality, security, and performance of the server application meet the design requirements and are completely bug-free.
  • They will also mentor junior engineers and build team strength through training.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
  2. Write code and unit tests to ensure high-quality delivery.
  3. Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
  4. Tune code for enhanced security and performance.
  5. Maintain systems by fixing existing issues.
  6. Update issue tracking software.
  7. Provide status updates to stakeholders.
  8. Communicate with clients to understand their needs.
  9. Control versions of code and manage change control processes.
  10. Research new technologies to improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Lead a team of software engineers and mentor them through training and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of related experience in professional industry.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Extensive experience in .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, and Web API.
  • Knowledge and experience in Azure and AWS.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Experience with different relational and schemaless databases.
  • Ability to create database structure for required functionality.
  • Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring minimum 90% test coverage.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Github, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Strong presentation skills.
