Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Installation and Commissioning Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Ericsson equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise teams on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Verify site readiness, survey data, and material delivery against specifications.
  • Ensure all necessary pre-work checks are completed and closed on time.
  • Oversee installations as per industry standards, best practices, and documented procedures.
  • Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting with back-office teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in Ericsson Transmission (Mini-Link TN, 20P/20PB/6P/MMU/6600 series).
  • Knowledge of MW antennas (0.3m–1.2m+), configurations (1+0, 2+0, 2+2, 4+0, XPIC, VLAN, E-Band), installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Radio experience: RBS 6000 installation, script loading, alarm clearance, and fault finding (2G/3G/LTE).
  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Trade Certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (NQF Level 4 or above).
  • Minimum 5–10 years' experience in GSM field installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
