Job Summary

Servicing IT Infrastructure as a System Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, manage and monitor firewalls including VPN setup, security policies, intrusion prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VLANs, wireless controllers and bandwidth optimization.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Intune for device and application management, Microsoft Defender for endpoint security, Exchange Online for email setup, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams collaboration.
  • Perform system monitoring, upgrades and patching to ensure high availability, stability and performance of IT infrastructure.
  • Configure virtualization platforms and manage virtual machines, storage and backups.
  • Implement and maintain backup solutions, disaster recovery strategies and business continuity plans.
  • Monitor IT security posture, enforce compliance with standards and conduct regular audits.
  • Lead the IT support team, assign daily tasks, track progress and provide mentoring and training to junior staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align IT infrastructure with business requirements.
  • Manage IT assets, maintain documentation of systems and procedures and ensure timely updates of SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software and networking issues, escalating when necessary to vendors or senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in system/network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, routing and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux and virtualization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication and team management abilities.
