Accounting Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping records for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions, including purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, journals, and adjustments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and control account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns via appropriate accounting software.
  • Prepare and submit CIS returns for relevant clients.
  • Assist in producing management accounts and year-end accounts.
  • Liaise with UK-based clients to resolve data queries and manage deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping services in line with UK accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA Affiliate (or equivalent qualification).
  • 3–4 years of practical bookkeeping experience for UK clients.
  • Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks (online & desktop), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of UK VAT and CIS return processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple client assignments with accuracy and timeliness.
