About this Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. As a senior member, you will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes from scratch according to client specifications and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality custom WordPress themes that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional WordPress solutions.
  • Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and implement best practices for maintainable and scalable code.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in custom theme development, including creating custom post types, taxonomies, and meta-boxes.
  • Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, and Underscores.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with headless WordPress development.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and practices.
  • Experience with other CMS platforms such as Drupal or Joomla.
