Job Summary
Cybersecurity Testing AssistantWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our cybersecurity team as a Cybersecurity Testing Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to transition into a career in cybersecurity. As a Cybersecurity Testing Assistant, you will assist senior team members in conducting internal and external penetration tests on networks, web applications, and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and offensive security. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities, documenting test results, and collaborating with senior Red Team members on test plans and methodologies.
You will also support the development of custom scripts and tools for testing purposes and stay updated on the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and industry tools. Additionally, you will participate in debriefs and walkthroughs with stakeholders and Blue Teams.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong interest in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and offensive security
- Familiarity with Linux systems, networking concepts, and basic scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common attack vectors
- Ability to work methodically and document processes clearly
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and testing techniques
