Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in information security or a related role.

The role involves developing and implementing information security policies and procedures, conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, monitoring and responding to security incidents and breaches, managing and maintaining security tools and technologies, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards.

The job requires educating employees about security best practices and awareness, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats and trends, and assisting in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus. The ideal candidate should also possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
