Job Title:

Search Engine Optimization Strategist

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for boosting organic traffic, enhancing keyword rankings, and optimizing on-site and off-site performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies for company websites and web assets.
  • Perform detailed keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO audits and provide action plans.
On-Page SEO Optimization:
  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, URL structure, internal linking, and image tags.
  • Ensure proper indexing and crawling using robots.txt and XML sitemaps.
  • Improve website speed, mobile-friendliness, and user experience based on SEO guidelines.
Off-Page SEO & Link Building:
  • Develop high-quality backlink acquisition strategies through guest posting, digital PR, outreach, and partnerships.
  • Monitor and improve backlink profiles using tools like Ahrefs or Moz.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track, analyze, and report SEO performance KPIs including traffic, rankings, bounce rate, and conversions.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers.
  • Keep up with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Identify and implement A/B testing opportunities to optimize SEO impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SEO (agency or in-house).
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and current best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools like:
    • Google Analytics & Google Search Console
    • SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz
    • Screaming Frog / Sitebulb / Ubersuggest
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO and CMS platforms (especially WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with international SEO, local SEO, or multilingual websites.
  • Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.
