English Subject Leader
The role of English Subject Leader is a pivotal one, ensuring students receive high-quality instruction in English and develop strong language and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the planning of the curriculum content, ensuring it is well sequenced to promote pupil progress.
• Implement and monitor the planned curriculum effectively across the school.
• Mentor teachers by reviewing their lesson plans, suggesting innovative ideas to incorporate in the class, and observing their classrooms.
• Evaluate student work by reviewing samples of corrected notebooks.
• Evaluate the quality of textbooks and materials used by the content team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following key qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Background: A master's degree in English or a related field, with recognized teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE).
• Experience: Extensive teaching experience with Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A-Level English, and a strong understanding of Cambridge assessment criteria and syllabi.
• Pedagogical Expertise: Strong classroom management and teaching skills, with experience in assessment, feedback, and differentiation to meet diverse student needs.
