As a seasoned accountant, you will oversee and manage a team of bookkeepers to deliver high-quality information to senior managers and other departments within the practice.

The role involves building relationships throughout the practice to ensure cohesive working between the bookkeeping team and departments such as accounts, payroll, and tax.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing VAT returns, bookkeeping files, and supporting schedules
  • Resolving internal and external queries arising from bookkeeping reviews
  • Reviewing detailed management accounts
  • Delivering training, guidance, and development of the team
About This Role:

You will work alongside the Director to identify and deliver process improvements and drive positive change, focusing on efficiencies and output.

Additionally, you should have excellent knowledge of Xero, Sage Line 50, and Excel, with intermediate/advanced knowledge of the latter being essential.
