Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our supply chain activities. This role is responsible for providing strategic oversight of procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will ensure a seamless flow of goods from procurement to customer delivery. Key responsibilities include managing warehouses for finished goods and raw materials, logistics planning, and inventory control.
Main Responsibilities:

- Procurement Strategy Development:
- Create and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials, aligning with business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the management of the finished goods warehouse to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient operations.
- Implement best practices for warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and distribution, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Logistics Strategy Development:
- Develop and manage logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
- Optimize shipping routes and reduce costs through effective transportation coordination.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):
- Lead the S&OP process to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
- Manage capacity planning to balance production with inventory and distribution strategies.
- Corn Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee the operations of the corn warehouse to ensure efficient and safe storage of corn as a raw material.
- Implement inventory management practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure quality and safety compliance throughout all operations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, warehouse management, logistics, and S&OP processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
